SHORT TERM CONTRACT ENGAGEMENT FOR THE POST OF SARVASHIKSHA CONTRACT TEACHER (SSCT ) / CLUSTER RESOURCE PERSON (CRP) / BLOCK RESOURCE PERSON (BRP) / BRP (CWSN) & PART TIME INSTRUCTORS
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
The State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, UT Mission Authority, Andaman & Nicobar Islands invites applications against the following vacancies from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form for the post of SSCT/CRP/BRP/BRP(CWSN) and Part Time Instructors purely on contract basis for the academic session 2012-13.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
i. SSCT/BRP/CRP (No. of Posts: 272)
Essential Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject or its equivalent from a recognized University.
2. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in teaching/education or its equivalent OR JBT/D.El.Ed. or its equivalent from a recognized University/institution.
OR
Integrated degree BA/B.Sc.-B.Ed. in the relevant subject or its equivalent from a recognized University.
3. Knowledge of Hindi.
Desirable: (1) Master Degree / M. Phil. / Ph. D. in the relevant subject from a recognized University
(2)Preference shall be given to candidates who have cleared CTET.
Pay : Rs.18000/- per month (consolidated)
Age : up to 30 years as on 10-07-2012 + relaxation of age as per circular no. 45/1998-PW dated 19/09/2011 of A & N Administration.
ii. BRP(CWSN) (No. of Posts:18)
Essential Qualifications :
1. As mentioned in 2(i) at Sl. No. 1,2&3, and
2. Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Special Education.
Pay : Rs.18000/- per month (consolidated)
Age : up to 30 years as on 10-07-2012 + relaxation of age as per circular no. 45/1998-PW dated 19/09/2011 of A & N Administration
iii Part Time Instructor [No. of Posts: (32 (Art Edn.)+ 32 (Health & Physical Edn.)+ 32(Work Edn.)=96]
Essential Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in any stream or its equivalent from a recognized University.
2. Degree / Diploma/Certificate in the course of Art Edn./Physical & Health Edn./Work Edn. or its equivalent from a recognized University / institution.
3. Knowledge of Hindi.
Pay : Rs.7000/- per month (consolidated)
Age : up to 30 years as on 10-07-2012 + relaxation of age as per circular no. 45/1998-PW dated 19/09/2011 of A & N Administration
