Having achieved highest standards for its flagship programme of MBA (Rural Management), KSRM is now moving closer to realizing its vision to become a leading global academic institution in the field of Rural Management. Towards this end KSRM is working on its new initiative “360 Degrees of Rural Management Education” to achieve complete depth and width in providing full range of short and long-term academic programmes by 2016 to meet the growing managerial needs of all types of organizations connected with rural economy.
As a part of this initiative KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) announces launch of its new programme 2 year MBA (Agribusiness Management) or MBA (ABM) from academic session beginning 2012. The programme like MBA (RM) is designed to balance academics with experiential learning. The proposed innovative Curriculum design, unlike other schools, will allow students to explore new frontiers of knowledge and practice for a meaningful managerial or entrepreneurial career in the field of agribusiness.
The KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar came into existence on 20th November 2006 as a constituent of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. Its existing 2-year MBA (Rural Management) is designed to balance academics with experiential learning. The KSRM model creates a vibrant learning environment for students in collaboration with our 200 partner organizations with diverse portfolio of activities related to development of rural economy. The success of the programme is reflected in excellent record of 100% campus placement for all its three batches comprising of 207 students passed out so far.
KIITEE Management 2012 will not be held due to engagement of KIIT with mega event like Indian Science Congress to be held in January. 2012. Shortlisting based on 4 national exams CAT, XAT, MAT & TISS only. Apply to KSRM on or before 31st January, 2012

Download the ‘Application Form from our website; take a print out; fill-up the form and send the filled-in application form complete in all respect along with written score, two passport size photographs and application fee of Rs.500/- in the form of DD drawn in favour of KIIT School of Rural Management payable at Bhubaneswar, to Admissions office, KIIT School of Rural Management, Krishna Campus – 7, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar – 751024, Odisha. Mention the Name and Address of the applicant on the reverse of the pay Order/ Demand Draft. Candidates should retain photocopies of the application form submitted and the ‘Pay Order/DD’ for future reference.
Written Test Scores: The applicants must have appeared for IRMA written test. This year KSRM will also consider registration for admission into MBA (RM) and MBA (ABM) for applicants who have registered in national level written exam namely CAT, XAT, MAT and TISS.
Group discussion and personal interview: The GD/PI for short listed candidates will be held in two rounds:
First round: From 21st January to 30th January, 2012 for candidates who have appeared for IRMA written exam and have registered with KSRM.
Second round: From 12th Feb. to 18th Feb.,2012 for candidates who have appeared for other national level written exams(CAT, XAT, MAT and TISS) and have registered with KSRM for admission before 31st January, 2012.
GD/PI centre: The GD/PI for all the short-listed candidates will be held at 5 (Five) Centre Viz
1. Bhubaneswar 2. Banglore 3. Kolkata 4. New Delhi 5. Mumbai.
Basis of selection: Academic career, performance in respective Written Exams and GD/PI.
Admission Offer: Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and condition of the admission. For the offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the contents of admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme through “Acceptance Letter” along with a demand draft for Rs. 30,000/- favouring “KIIT School of Rural Management” as the case may be, payable at Bhubaneswar towards the admission fees. The admission fee so deposited is refundable if the admitted candidate withdraws before the start of the course for genuine reason. All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
Eligibility:
MBA (Rural Management): Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) at graduation can apply.
MBA (Agribusiness Management) Graduate in Agriculture or any allied field with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) at graduation can apply.
