DETAILED NOTIFICATION
RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR LINEMAN
Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma through APTRANSCO WEBSITE www.aptransco.gov.in from 18.01.2012 to 18.02.2012 for filling up the JLMs vacancies on regular basis in APTRANSCO O&M Service.
The desirous eligible Candidates may apply by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment.
BREAK – UP OF VACANCIES:
Consequent to implementation of the spirit of A. P. Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres & Regulation of Direct Recruitment) order, 1975 which popularly known as “The Presidential Order” in APTRANSCO, the break-up of vacancies, Zone-wise, are as follows:
Last date for submission of Application is 18.02.2012 up to 5 P.M
Applications received after due date and time i.e., after 18.02.2012 5.00 PM will be rejected summarily. The APTRANSCO is not responsible for postal delay.
II. ELIGIBILITY:
1. Age: Age not below 18 years and above 35 years as on date of notification. Relaxation in upper age limit is permissible upto 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates. For in service contract workers, the age at the time of entry into the organization as contract worker, will be considered, to ascertain eligibility or otherwise.
2.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
a. Junior Linemen SSLC/SSC/10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade/Wireman or intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.
III.SELECTION PROCEDURE:
1) The candidates have to appear for the following tests:
i) Meter Reading.
ii) Cycling.
iii) Tower Climbing.
The candidates who pass the above tests alone, will become eligible for further evaluation of marks secured in 10th Class and I.T.I. or Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.
